Theodore Georgis M.D. Q.M.E.

Dr. Theodore Georgis is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who graduated with honors from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and went on to complete Medical School at Northwestern University at their downtown Chicago, Illinois campus.  Following graduation from Medical School, Dr. Georgis completed his internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco in 1986.  Dr. Georgis then completed a one year Fellowship in Spinal Surgery at the University of California, San Diego.

After his fellowship, Dr. Georgis maintained a busy private practice for many years at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA, specializing in spinal surgery.  He also held the position of Voluntary Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Diego.

Due to a motorcycle accident that fractured both of Dr. Georgis’ hips, he retired from surgical practice for several years to go through extensive rehabilitation and focus on raising his family. During this time, Dr. Georgis gained valuable insight on what his patients go through, which enables him to better understand their pain and the challenges they face during the rehabilitation process. Already a man of integrity, this experience has made him an even more compassionate doctor to his patients.

He remains active in the community, serving as President of the local Pop Warner Football Association in the recent past.   Since 2008, Dr. Georgis has devoted his practice to non-operative treatment of orthopaedic conditions, as well as medical-legal evaluations.  Dr. Georgis also holds an active Washington state medical license and will be conducting IME’s in that state.
